About Me

Howdy readers! My name is Shawnna and I am a newly published author. 

I currently have one children's picture book available ... 'What Kind Of A Name Is That?' ... and am working on the second with my publisher. I am currently writing a chapter book and that has been a real challenge.

I love to read everything! I try to alternate between chapter books for 8-12, teens/young adult, picture books, and books for adults.Please let me know if you have read something you just love and want to share! My other passion is my garden!

If I am not playing with the kids, reading, or writing...then you can find me in my garden. I have loved taking a boring space and turning it into our own piece of paradise. We have a wonderful raised veggie garden and loads of flowers. My son has a pond that he helps out with and it is loaded with lily pads and wildlife.
